If you have spilled red wine, we recommend that you do the following:
- As soon as the wine has been spilled, immediately pour white wine over the stain.
- Sprinkle salt over the wine stain. And lots of salt! Let this sit for about 5 minutes, so that the salt can absorb the red and white wine completely. Tip: the sooner you sprinkle the salt after the spill, the easier the stain will disappear.

- Dab the mixture onto the stain.
- Wet the stain thoroughly and let it dry.
- Repeat these steps until the stain is (almost) gone and put the tablecloth in the washing machine.
Stains from foods with strong dyes are always difficult. That is why we recommend not to let it dry and to take action immediately. This can save you a lot of time and energy.
